We are now booking Fall Experiences!
Forest Hill Farms is located on 10 acres in beautiful Burlington, PEI just a few minutes from Kensington. We have a small herd of registered Nubian goats who we raise and hand milk. You can often find our goats roaming free range through the fields with the miniature donkeys. The goats love to hang out in the hammocks with their humans or walking through the forested trails. At Forest Hill Farm our passion is providing a tranquil and peaceful experience with nature and animals.
When you spend time at Forest Hill Farm you will be able to spend time with the goats roaming the fields, hiking the forest, enjoying the hammocks, and relaxing with your sponsored goat. In the early spring we will have baby goats, called kids, who are sure to make you laugh and smile, maybe it will even be your sponsored goat that will give birth! If you decide to join us in the winter feel free to bring snowshoes for our trails and sit and warm yourself by a fire.
Its is our pleasure to share what we love with others and we look forward to introducing you to the experience of Forest Hill Nubians.
The donkeys are emotional, comical, and intelligent animals that seek attention from anyone who will give them a chance. Maggie & LouAnne love being pampered and fussed over. With their docile personalities they provide the opportunity to foster self confidence and teach the benefits of nurturing. These donkeys are a great animal for any age. They are wonderful with children. They are great therapy animals. These girls would even be great with the elderly or someone who may not be able to interact like they use to with horses.
Maggie and LouAnne have enriched and brightened our lives here at Forest Hill and we want to be able to share their love with others. They are people magnets so be prepared to be popular!
These goats & donkeys will be up for sponsorship. Read all about them and find the one that is best suited to you. When an animal has an X in front of their name it means that they are being sponsored, if interested please ask when they will be available again.
Penelope travelled from Quebec as a baby to the farm with our buck Louie in 2023. She is a barn favourite who will do anything to be with her people. I mean anything! This girl will use the wall, barn door, hay feeder as her personal launchpad to get out to be with her humans. She has the sweetest personality and loves to cuddle.
Gus is one of the first goats at Forest Hill and we call him Groovy Goat Gus because of his chill demeanor. He is the sweetest goat who just loves to hang out with his people.
Stewart was the first kid to be born at Forest Hill. He is a mini Nubian who is not so mini! Stewart is always the first one to meet you and loves to be in on all the action. He REALLY loves Cheerios and hugs!
Josephine came to us as a baby from Ontario in 2021. She has beautiful markings and that lovely Nubian Roman nose. Josephine can be timid but with those who are patient and calm she can be a real gem. She loves when you sit beside her as she is eating in the field.
Gwen has the cutest little face and is often spotted hanging out with her best friend Bonnie. Gwen is a quiet goa who keeps to herself but doesn't mind company. She has a gentle and peaceful way about her that kids just love.
Posey is a Nubian who travelled from Alberta to be at our farm. She is a little shy and reserved but would love someone to help her come out of her shell. She enjoys a good chin scratch and of course her favourite treats.
Eloise is recognized by her fancy colouring and friendly personailty. She was very shy when she first arrived but has quickly become one of the herd leaders with her bestie Phyllis. Those two are often found cuddled up together or playing. You will love Eloise's expressions and sweet disposition.
Maggie is very loving and soft natured mini donkey that lives at Forest Hill Farm. She is cart trained, but has taken some time off to raise her daughter LouAnne. She loves to make noise when she sees you in the field.
Mis LouAnne is the shy and sweet daughter of Maggie. She is very curious and loves to run down the field to meet everyone that visits.
