The Nigerian Dwarf Goats

Jack

Jack is our first goat (along with his twin Captain who we lost in 2022).  Back in his younger days he was the handsome "quarter back"  that would strut his stuff.  Now, as a senior, he is lazy, huffs and puffs if he has to walk too far and has a gut to show for his lack of exercise... but when Jack admires his reflection, which he does often, he sees that young handsome, fit fella that made the girls swoon!

SPARROW

Sparrow is very special.  He was born no bigger than your hand and needed clothes pegs to support his legs so he could stand.  He has had countless health issues in his first year but is now strong and healthy and one of the tallest.  He has saggy gray ears that always look like they are wilting, no matter what the weather is!

Daisy

Daisy is the herd Queen, which means she is a diva and is the true leader.  Daisy loves sparkles, pink, and freezies!  Daisy has had some difficult pregnancies so this royal lady has retired her baby days and will now rule without distraction!

If Daisy were a human she would give the Hollywood Divas a run for their money!

Willy

Shy, quiet Willy sits off to the side and is always ready for a pat and a cuddle.  He adores being brushed and unlike most of the others he is a very picky eater.  Willy is terrified of bugs!

Wrecks

Our extreme sports, cuddly, Wrecks is the founder of goat paddleboarding and LOVES food (which is why he doesn't paddleboard often as he has put on a few pounds and tends to throw the boards off balance).  Wrecks loves to explore with his lips and some times has a taste for unusual things so watch your flip flops and croc charms... he will wreck them in a matter of seconds!

Poppet

Pretty Poppet is such a sweet girl.  Her bright blue eyes are always so curious.  She is a therapy goat and is the proud Mom of Elizabeth and Pippa.  Poppet is the face of Beach Goats.

We lost our beautiful Poppet in July 2022

Sadie

Our little lady Sadie is ready to bat her eyes at you and push into everyone's hearts.  She loves to dress up and be the center of attention.    She isn't much into raising her kids though, she much rather let us humans do that while she catches up on her gossip.  Can any one say desperate house wives haha

Tiki

Tiki is a role model Mother and puts up with a lot from her high energy kids.  She is shy but mighty and has come a long way in being sociable.  She is a bit of an introvert that is happy to be apart of it all but would really rather not participate in planned activites

Pippa

Pippa is the one all the goats love.  The herd spoils her rotten and she is loved by all the new babies.  Pippa has her Mother's soft, gentle soul and stunning blue eyes.  She loves to copy her big sister Elizabeth but she is also becoming her own independent lady and loves to paddleboard.  Pippa is the mediator of the herd and really dislikes any arguments.

Carina

Carina is a stunning  girl with a voice that can be herd anywhere.  She came to us at 4 months old from our good friends at Lyonsbrook Goats.  She is a strong, undeterred little lady and thinks the world of Pippa.

Rachel

Rachel came to us as adult and she is finding her place in the herd.  She adores her daughter and the company of Ellie.  Rachel has a sweet smile has embraced being a Beach Goat with her whole being!  Rachel is the only horned goat in the herd but she doesn't seem to know she has them!

TinkerBELL

This wee little girl was barely a pound when she was born and kept us on our toes.  To keep her alert when she was first born we would clap our hands, and just like in Peter Pan, you bring back fairies by clapping your hands so this tiny little love became Tinkerbell.  She is Sadie's daughter.

TESS

Tess was born on the living room rug (don't worry we got a new one!) so she is our little Rug Rat.  Being that she lived the first 2 1/2 months inside Tess hates to be outside if it can be avoided... She is known for jumping on all things man made just to avoid touching the ground.  This funny little girl loves to make people laugh with her silly dances.  Tess is Ellie's daughter

Harriet

Harriet wiggles and makes you giggle, she loves to go anywhere she wants.  She is our independent, I can do it myself child.  Harriet loves being with her sister, Tinkerbell and her Mom, Sadie

Izzy

Everybody's favourite house goat.  Izzy was born in September 2023 and has grown up inside the house sleeping in beds, sitting on couches and winning the hearts of everyone.  She is extremely kind and patient and loved by all the goats but has a stubborn confident streak about her that is common for many bottle babies.  Izzy now lives in the barn but believes she belongs in the house.

Tommy

Tommy is Ellie's son and Tess's little brother.  He is very small for his age, hates cold weather, and is marches to his own drummer.  Tommy has a wonderful, sweet personality and loves to be on the go when he is warm.

Kai

Kai is one of our bucks and he is a Daddy to quite a few of the 2026 babies.  Kai is a sweet loveable little man and enjoys spending time with his twin sister and Mom, Tiki.

NALU

Nalu is Tiki's little girl and her name means Lady of the Waves in Polynesian.  She is a blue eyed beauty who is great at just about everything.  She loves to paddleboard, cuddle, jump on backs and explore.   She is very curious and is a wonderful addition to Beach Goats

Zoey

Fun , cuddly Zoey is always on the heels of Nalu her best friend or any other goat having some fun.  She is Rachel's daughter and gives calm reserved Rachel a run for her money.

The Others

Hope

Hope was born on January 1, 2024.  She is mini-silky pygmy.  We took her in from another farm to raise her as a bottle baby.  She is a bit of a scatter brain, has wild untamed hair, and loves to float on paddleboards... with or without people!  Hope has a disorder in her back legs and needs some support with her swimming so she always has on her float-a-goat-coat

Ariel

Ariel is an Alpine-Nubian and has the ears to show it.  Nubians have long floppy ears while Alpines have sticking out the side ears.  Ariel got the length from her Nubian daddy and the sticky-out part from her Mommy, Nemo giving her what appears to be airplane wings.  Ariel is a gentle soul but often has a lot to say so we often call her Ari-Yell.

Norma

Norma is Ariel's daughter, she is a mini Alpine-Nubian and she is quite calm.  She is attached at the hip to her Mommy but will part with her to paddleboard, which is one of Norma's passions.

AMy

Amy is our speckled park-Holstein cow that was bottle raised and thinks she is a goat.  She is very friendly, loves scratches and will do anything for teddy grahams.
