Looking for a unique gift?? How about Sponsoring a goat!
The large family with the small homestead! Here at The Landing, we raise dairy goats and free-range chickens. Our goats play an important role in the daily life of our farm and we would love to share the experience with you!
When they are in full production, our mixed-breed herd provides several litres of delicious milk every day, that we use for all kinds of dairy products for our family - milk, coffee cream, cheese, butter, ice cream, caramel sauce, and so much more. The goats are very friendly and personable, and love visitors (because they usually come with treats!). Goats up for sponsorship may or may not be in milk, but we always have goats currently producing on the farm. If your goat isn't milking when you visit, you'll get the bonus of meeting another goat that is, and get a chance to learn all about the milking experience during your private milking demonstration!
Not up for sponsorship, but always up for some attention, our flock of 20+ free-range chickens enjoy visitors and treats just as much as the goats do! Their fresh eggs are used daily for baking, cooking, and selling. There are always a few that refuse to lay their eggs in their coop, so if you are up for it, come and help us track them down in one of the hens' multiple hiding places!
These goats will be up for sponsorship. Read all about them and find the one that is best suited to you. When an animal has an X in front of their name it means that they are being sponsored, if interested please ask when they will be available again.

She is sweet and calm, and an excellent mother to her girls, Wendy and Wanda. Pam has given our family over 18 months of milk and although her production is going down, she is still milking today. She eats absolutely everything and would love to be spoiled with some extra treats!

She has a soft, silky coat and loves to be brushed. She would be thrilled to get some special attention, be taken for a walk to find some yummy weeds to sample, and get some nice scratches between her ears.
